Kristi Probst is the Initiative Lead, Interveners and Qualified Personnel for the National Center on Deaf-Blindness. As a National Leadership Consortium in Sensory Disabilities scholar, her doctoral studies at Illinois State University focused on educating learners with deafblindness. Holding licensures in Education for Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Low Vision & Blindness, Learning/Behavior, Elementary Education, and Early Childhood Education, she has worked as a teacher (for the Visually Impaired, Deaf, and students with learning disabilities) Early Interventionist, Sign Language Interpreter, and university faculty. Kristi writes and speaks about the education of children with sensory disabilities and additional disabilities, interveners, teachers of the deaf-blind, and deaf-blind strategies.
