About
The KY DeafBlind Project provides support, training, coaching, resources for all those working with children/young adults (ages 0-22) who are DeafBlind. DeafBlind meaning that the child/young adult has both hearing and vision loss TOGETHER. We work with school teams, families, service providers, adult services, medical community, and community members who are working with individuals who are DeafBlind. The DeafBlind community is diverse and often people who are working with them do not know they first have a student who is Deafblind and secondly, how to best work with a student who is DeafBlind. We collaborate with our families, school teams, and state partners so that outcomes for our children/young adults are positive and lead to a happy life!
