Special Education Coordinator for Alternate Assessment, Low Incidence Disabilities, and Medicaid School-Based Services

Support and provide technical assistance to LEAs as they implement the Idaho Alternate Assessment (IDAA), serve students with low incidence and significant cognitive disabilities, and provide and seek reimbursement for Medicaid School-Based Services. Monitor IDAA participation; provide oversight and support to LEAs that exceed the 1.0% cap on IDAA participation. Interface with the Assessment & Accountability Department to oversee the development of and implementation of the IDAA, including reviewing test items, developing IDAA implementation documents, and ensuring the IDAA is ready for deployment.
